All over the place
Mar. 18th, 2009 03:28 pmFirst of all I'd like to apologise to everyone. When the world ends today, it'll be because for the first time,
lederhosen and I had all the packing done before the removalists got here.
They're coping fairly well with the stuff, and there's been no great surprises, apart from the double-trailer with two large containers on them arriving an hour later than expected. No, we're only filling one. The other one is from their previous job.
Poor Cuton is being rather well behaved. He's not feeling the best due to whacking his eye on a cupboard the other night and ending up with a small but painful looking ulcer on his cornea. I told the vet about using Fluorescein in nightclubs, which she laughed at. The ulcer showed up perfectly rectangular, and while hte rest of the eye was a nasty inflamed red, she said it was also a good inflamed red because it means the blood is flowing through and not pooling. He has drops in his eyes 4-6 times a day and is heaps better today.
Also managed to get far too many boxes at the local hardware shop's Free Box area.
The dog is dogging the removalists. I hope he's not being too much of a nuisance.

Date: 2009-04-07 05:53 am (UTC)A cinema in Camberwell had some preview screenings last week. I'll contact them on Tuesday 22 April to confirm the session times then book my flights and stuff.
I'll let you know when and where we'll be meeting (probably on the bridge over the railway at Camberwell as one of the girls from Magnificent Percy lives nearby and we always get together at her place.
Catch up with you soon. Good to know that the move went smoothly.
Take care.
Hooroo,
Carole
