Courtesy of Translation Party, what happens when our National Anthem gets translated into Japanese, then back to English, then back to Japanese... until you reach an equilibrium.
Hah! It can't cope with "All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a Thousand Enemies" - eventually it gives up with "It is doubtful that this phrase will ever reach equilibrium." =:P
Hehe - I just got "It is doubtful that this phrase will ever reach equilibrium." The last attempt was: Beetle, brewery, is harmful to the flagon PERETTODORAGONBOTO. The last entirely in English was: Beetle, has been brewing in the flagon with the dragon boat real poison pellets.
"Buzzy the nasty squirrel is turning into an obnoxious badger" ended up as "Buzzy is a sick squirrel badger". It works!
Oh wait a minute, wrong species. "Buzzy the nasty squirrel is turning into an obnoxious beaver" became "Buzzy is a list of diseases that are bad beaver".
