Is "I feel your pain" enough?
Dec. 3rd, 2009 05:42 pmOh the great power of the internet. Heather Armstrong bought herself a new washing machine, and it went wrong.
Her own post is hilarious.
But someone posted a reply to some of Heather's frustrated metaphors.
And the pair of posts together explain why it is that the internet is a wonderful tool for spreading the glories of someone's extensive use of the English Language.

Question
Date: 2009-12-06 11:28 pm (UTC)Josh's sister, Dawn, here. Long story short - my son, Jaden, has a school assignment where he has to mail a "Flat Stanley" character to someone in another country. The recipient would have to be willing to write about "Flat Stanley's" adventures, take some pictures of said adventures... Jaden would compose a letter to you and Geoffrey which would be mailed, along with "Flat Stanley" and further explanations. Jaden wanted to ask you guys because he loves all the animals from Australia and you are friends of his Uncle. If you would be willing could you email Josh and have him pass along your home address so Jaden can start getting his assignment together? If it is too inconvienent that is not a problem - we will just start going down the list. You are the first folks he wanted to ask.
Thanks
Dawn
