Some gardens are polite and cultivated and you can imagine that when the gardener works clipping the herbaceous borders or clipping the dahlias, there's the gentle strains of "English Country Garden" wafting through the honeysuckle.

Ours isn't that sort of garden.

It's a rockery at the back that we let get a little out of hand.

So while I was working on it this evening, I started at Alice Cooper...

... and went downhill from there...

... Deep Purple ...

... Ozzy Osbourne ...

... And I think I'm going to need System of a Down just to get it finished.

Now please excuse me while I fall over.

I think we're aiming towards "Village Green Preservation Society".

Id love a garden that calls to mind something like beethovens fifth. Unfortunately it seems to scream Ween Pushin Daisies, or at absolute best Mozarts Requiem. Alas, poor garden.

If my garden is behaving itself, it's humming Siouxsie and the Banshees. When it's not, it starts out screaming "I AM AN ANTICHRIST/I AM AN ANARCHIST" and it goes downhill from there. Some days, it just slides right into GWAR before I know it.

At least it's a rockin' rockery.
