Yay, I loved the little clock.

I had something like that happen to me last year, but fortunately the current batch of snow will be melting away this weekend.

I beg to differ! That video is from Belmar, NJ, about 20 mins from where I grew up (and where I sat through this blizzard, since I was home for the holiday) and a good hour, if not more, from NYC. Coastal NJ got hit a lot harder than NYC, but regardless, this was a nasty, nasty storm. There was even thunder and lightning:

We got 18 inches (45 cm) out of this storm up here in the Maine Wilderness. Some other areas of the state saw more than 2 feet (60 cm).

In my section of middle/upstate NY, we got - about a half inch. We're supposed to get another 1-3 inches overnight. It's rather cold and quite windy, but this one passed around us.
