(The luciusbigbang fanfiction community moderators are sorting out assignments for Betas and Cheerleaders, and I wrote them a poem. So they put it on the journal. But please ignore the comments - they're making me blush.)

In other news, I wrote a short story for Toasted Cheese in their Spring category "Three Cheers and a Tiger". The guidelines were posted and you had 48 hours to write the story. The recent comp guidelines were:

Write a mystery that uses a short social media message (Twitter, Facebook, or other social media site) about an ecological change in a nearby river as an important clue. Word count: Between 2450 and 2550 words.

And I won third prize! *happy happy dancing* My first fiction paid prize!!! (I think I get a $10 Amazon voucher - which thrills me to bits!). As soon as the edition is published, I'll let you lot know.
