First two plot ideas.

From lordstorm: Nine walks up to Fifteen and says without preamble, "I know it was you. I won't forget this." What is Fifteen's reaction likely to be?

Professor Trelawney cowered beside the stair as Madam Rosemerta approached her, pointing at her and scowling as if all her Traveller ancestors were calling out at once.

"You." Rosmerta's voice echoed down the corridor of the empty pub. "You came to my house, you called up the spirits, you prophesied and then you left. Nigh on twenty years ago you came and started the events that have ended in chaos and death and madness..."

"Please, I beg of you!" Sybill Trelawney cowered under the glare of the other woman. "You have the sight too - surely you can see that there must be a resolution!"

"But to what end? And will we live to see the end of it?" When Rosmerta was roused, her black hair flew out from its confinings scarf and billowed around her like a charged cloud of darkness. "I blame you - YOU - for Everything"

And outside a roll of thunder punctuated the tension in the air...

Aberforth peered out at the empty road that had once been the busiest part of Hogsmeade.

"Bastard Death eaters". He slammed the door shut once more, cursing the rules which meant no students came to Hogsmeade to sneak underaged into the Hog's Head. Well, maybe some of them. And a few adults. But now - nothing. Not a lonely couple after a quiet corner's snogging, not a mysterious figure under a long veil, nothing.

*BANG* *BANG*

Aberforth hadn't gone a single step from the door when it rattled under the authoritative hammering of someone outside. It took him but a moment to unhook the latch and fling it open once more, the cold winter air spilling into the pub and dispersing some of the miasma of goat that permeated every corner.

"Yeah. Whaddayawant?"

The figure in front of him was dressed in a shade of pink that surely had no origins in nature. Her perfectly coiffed hair stayed in place by some malevolent charm, and she waved a pink-and-white clipboard adorned with kitten pictures and stickers. She was flanked by a pair of gentlemen whose attitude and dress screamed "Thug", but who stood still and said nothing.

"Aberforth Dumbledore?"

"Who wants to know?"

"This is Ministry business. May I come in?" And the woman barged past him and stood in the middle of the pub, peering up at the rafters and making copious notes. Aberforth heard her mutter things like "Unregulated bacons", "unauthorised cider presses" and "improper use of a zepplin", but she did not further acknowledge his presence until she had made a full circuit of the main room. Finally she stopped in front of him and grimaced. Sniffing lightly, she noted something on the clipboard, and the words "probably something to do with the goats".

"So," she said, finally looking back at him. "Are you the person responsible for ..."

"I NEVER HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH THAT ZEPPLIN! IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!" His outburst caught her by surprise, and she took a step backwards before she could steady herself.
