I actually love ppt and avidly hate openoffice, as handy a resource as it (is supposed to be) is. Our old IT guy used to always try to get our company to switch over. No thanks.

Anyway, good luck with the little dictator.

I use it for the basic spreadsheet and word processor. I never got the impression that trying anything fancy with OpenOffice is a good idea.

Is there such a thing as nice presentation software? I use LibreOffice (which is basically OpenOffice) a great deal, but only the word processor and spreadsheet. I've never had much inclination to try the other stuff. I don't think I will now!
