Honestly, I can't see them staying together very long after canon. They really annoy each other, and after the "in-love" period wears off, they would start to hate each others presence.

That is exactly the face my kid made, at age 5, when she learned who Hermione's husband would turn out to be. She'd identified so perfectly with Hermione until then.
I ship SS/HG too. They just make better sense together. It's not that I don't like Ron as a character. But I think he would be better off with Cho Chang, Lavender Brown or even Pansy Parkinson. Hermione wants a career, needs someone who can keep up, and let's face it, Ron just doesn't fit the bill. Hillarious use of stills from the film. Thanks! Lol. ^ ^
