Aw, you're being too hard on Ron. Not that I ship them either. But I do like them as friends.

I do like Ron, but it's difficult for me to see him as Hermione's love interest as well. (Of course that depends on how one views love.)

I do like them as friends who have different partners but are also loyal to each other (and to Harry–because The Trio needs to be ... the Trio! :D)

Honestly, I can't see them staying together very long after canon. They really annoy each other, and after the "in-love" period wears off, they would start to hate each others presence.

I do still like them as friends, but Ron needs someone more carefree and Hermione needs someone more intellectual. *points to Dramion icon*

That is exactly the face my kid made, at age 5, when she learned who Hermione's husband would turn out to be. She'd identified so perfectly with Hermione until then.

I ship SS/HG too. They just make better sense together. It's not that I don't like Ron as a character. But I think he would be better off with Cho Chang, Lavender Brown or even Pansy Parkinson. Hermione wants a career, needs someone who can keep up, and let's face it, Ron just doesn't fit the bill. Hillarious use of stills from the film. Thanks! Lol. ^ ^
