Smegging Printer!
Mar. 11th, 2003 09:12 amI have lecture notes to print out. I prefer printing them at home because 9 times out of 10 the wretched lecturer has put in colour diagrams that really don't show up at all well on black-and-white. That and being able to swap around the page choices so I can have 3 slides per page, double sided. It saves paper, it saves me having to carry it, it saves a lot.
Except when the
a) half-print all the colour, rendering all diagrams useless.
b) Splodge black ink down the non-printing side so that it's useless for double-sided.
c) Make the most appauling clunking crunching grinding noises as it prints, in the middle of a job, so that I know any pages after that are again useless.
I was hoping to get away with 7 pages - 6 lecture and 1 tutorial. I've wasted 10 trying to do the lecture, I've just noticed the tutorial page back is half-printed only, and I want to SCREAM
The fact that this printer has recently had to print out umpteen copies of my bunny's thesis has nothing to do with its current state of exhaustion. Honest.
Except when the
smegging nerdwit son of a martian earthworm gates-designed bush-loving pig-headed bloody printer
decides it's going toa) half-print all the colour, rendering all diagrams useless.
