In which the dogs try to kill me.

Actually not quite as serious as that, but last night, on our walk, dogorcuton decided to dive under my feet. I was walking Basil (Newsquirt), who kept pulling, and as I tried not to walk on dogorcuton, the elderly one doubled back. I dodged, Basil pulled again, and over I went onto the concrete footpath. lederhosen managed to help me up and I hobbled home, where icepacks went on the badly-bruised knee and dressings on the badly-grazed elbow.

Today I feel shaky (probably a hangover from the painkillers) and the knee is protesting loudly.

Oh. Yeah. The dogs are fine. Idiots.

In other news, my mother is in town and I've been spending most of the time with her, so I'm WAY behind on sshg_exchange and all other LJ stuff.

Oh dear. It's a conspiracy, you know. They think if you're out of action you won't notice them raiding the cupboard for extra helpings of biscuits and even... people food.
