Mar. 28th, 2003 04:05 pmFirst Gig: Keith Green, (Christian Rock), Hordern Pavlova Dec 1979
Last: Um - was that the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds at the Enmore last year? We've got to get out more
Next: Let me get tomorrow's paper!
Worst: Devo 1981 (Pavlova again). (Recorded music - I felt so CHEATED). Followed by U2 1984 - too loud.
Best: Eric Clapton 1988 (Ent Cent - Lyric Mode) or Police 1980 - SCG or Billy Bragg, Enmore 1999, or Herman's Hermits at MAnly, or Gerry and the Pacemakers at the Ingleburn RSL.(1985) Oh - and how could I forget Lee Presson and the Nails at the Novato Ranch Park, 2002
Memorable: Suzi Quatro at the old Rio Dive, Pyrmont Bridge Road, Sydney. She said "Welcome to the Dive" and it was, but it was appropriate. Or Sky at the State Theatre - ran into so many friends that night. Or Lee Presson - see above.
Sadly Missed: Queen 1985 - the fiance at the time didn't want to go. I should have.
Always a Pleasure: Sting - great cool jazz. Lee Presson was full of energy and joy about death and pain.
Best Venue: Old Manly Hotel (now gone).
Worst Venue: The Rio Dive (see memorable above) followed by the Ent cent if you're up with the gods. Followed by the Manzell Room.
Like to see: Alice Cooper, Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, Offspring, Red Hot Chili Peppers, TMBG
