Yes, I tend to fall for the mind before the body. Russell Johnson, who played the Professor in "Gilligan's Island", has died.

I hated the show. I never liked that sort of humour, and besides which, it started in Australia when I was a year old, and has resulted in 48 years of teasing about my name. But I thought the Professor was lovely.

I had a crush on the Professor too. I fancied myself as a bit of an inventor as a kid, so anyone who could make a radio out of coconut shells and vines and a nifty golf buggy to tour 'round the island in was alright by me.
