Targetted spammers

Had one land in my mailbox today. What's interesting is that it's directly addressed to lederhosen and myself by name. They must have harvested someone else's email list, probably through a nasty virus or similar.

But Australia Post does not send me notifications of missed mail by email, nor do they charge a daily fee for holding mail. So screw you, spammers. Now if only I could work out who they got the address off.

Eeek, I had the email address I use here hacked a week or so ago. I'm here so rarely it didn't occur to me to post a warning. I hope it wasn't because of that. Was it either from hsgs etc at gmail, or did it involve clicking on a Google docs link?

All the same, I thoroughly endorse the use of spam filters, anti-virus protection and being suspicious. Just think how suspicious Severus would have had to be...
