I have just received my gift for the sshg_giftfest, and it is magnificent.

The Price of a Memory. It's PG-13, only for the shades of the violence that was going on during the Wizarding War. I would read it to my ten year old friend. But I wouldn't be able to, because I would be crying all the way through with the heartbreak of it and the soul's pain of doing what you have to do because there is a War going on.

Please, if you like well-written, beautifully plotted and thoughtful fanfic, please go and read it and leave the Mystery Author the love they truly deserve.
