My dad's had a stroke.

At the moment, life sucks, because my dad, George Richards, has had a stroke. He's in hospital up here in Sydney, and I flew up yesterday to be with the family and help Mum.

It's not looking good. He's not going to come out of it unscathed, but we have no idea of the actual outcome and won't for a few days more.

Geoffrey is down in Melbourne, trying to cope with attention demands from a pair of needy kittens.

Huge and enormous love and thanks to Chris Mann and Amy Ng who broke from their weekend away in Nowra to come to Sydney Airport and pick me up, then head up to the hospital.
