It's an interview. Simply, at the end of this you leave a comment of "Interview me" and I shall ask you 5 questions for you to take back to your own journal and answer as a post. Of course, they'll be different for each person since this is an interview and not a general survey.

At the bottom of your post, after answering the Interviewer's questions, you ask if anyone wants to be interviewed. So it becomes your turn -- in the comments, you ask them any questions you have for them to take back to their journals and answer. And so it becomes the circle.

Be warned, however, that I've been watching a rather good interviewer lately who has not shied from the tough questions (So, did you have any idea he was going to cut the rope and let you drop to your death at that moment?) so I may ask some curly ones.

1) What image or music do you sue to perpetuate feelings of blackness or despair? Be specific regarding groups and titles.

2) In your opinion, what percentage of teens conform to the touted ideals (cheerleaders/football jocks/pretty people) and why?

3) Where do you want to be in 5 years, and where do you realistically think you'll be?

4) Which Metallica albums do you consider to be most characteristic of the make-up of the band at those stages? Include the current line-up if necessary, or not if you don't feel the change to be important.

5) Have you ever felt suicidal, and why? And what stopped you?

Bring it!

What happened to the amazing mohawk?

Do you see yourself settling in the USA now, or is Melbourne still your home?

Where does "qamar" come from?

What was it about the lovely Morgan that made you notice him at first? (This doesn't have to be a positive thing, although I bet it is!)

Which piece of music most makes your heart wrench and your eyes water?

Madam:

How "weird" do you see yourself compared to the quiet little city of Portland?

Describe the last time you were deeply, painfully, gloriously in love.

Rich flavoursome coffee or deep dark chocolate?

What was the reason you gave yourself for moving to Oregon, and what was the one you gave your family?

When you seek the inner peace that's special, where do you go, and what music or sound do you seek to arrive there?

How did you rationalise staying with an abusive partner?

Re: your alternative lifestyle preferences - which came first - BDSM or lesbianism. And was it easier to accept the second once you'd admitted the first to yourself?

When the darkness tries to descend, which music do you play to get out of it, and which to stay deep in the darkness?

How did you get involved in the weirdness that is alt.dbs?

While in the Navy, what was the worst hazing you saw or had happen to you?

Hah! I watched Enough Rope last night, too.

Alright then, interview me!

(but where is your interview? I couldn't find one...)

From: [identity profile] reynardo.livejournal.com
I had to start somewhere... Keep an eye on my journals.

What is it about the City of Melbourne that holds you there?

When you look in the mirror, what pleases you the most?

What bird or animal noise makes you stop and smile to yourself?

Did you ever keep pet mice as a youngster, and will you start now?

What is the oddest tram journey you have ever taken?

Which alternate sexuality practices do you prefer?

Which of your total accumulated wealth of vintage items could you never, never part with, even in extreme circumstances?

Which James Cameron or Gail Anne Hurd film's female character do you most identify with and why?

The glorious Gwendoline had us all amazed and excited by your talents. In which direction do you see your drawing going?

The looks, the poetry or the sick humour - which of these traits of [livejournal.com profile] drzero attracted you the most when you first met him?

Then brace yourself...

Your shields are rather thick, and you hide yourself inside them fairly well. What first persuaded you to crack the shield a little and allow the inside back out?

Where did you learn your maths, and why haven't you continued with it?

How much do you find that a tongue-stud interferes with normal activities like drinking and talking, and how long does it take to learn to compensate?

And thus, in which activity do you find the stud gives the most advantage over an unpierced tongue (apart from squicking the normals)

Do you ever find the age difference between you and [livejournal.com profile] stilkil a problem, and if so in which particular area?

At what point did you realise the power of sysadmining could be yours?

Although the needs for autonomy and self-respect rank highly with you, at what point would you consider setting aside these for the purely mercenary?

With which leading figure in Britain's historical past do you most identify and which particular characteristics or acts of theirs? (Anything pre 1990 is fine).

In an autobiographical film, which actor would give the most sympathetic portrayal of your life, and who would give the most realistic?

What tune does your doorbell play?

Why the Zerg, as versus the Protos or the humans?

What line or otherwise do you wish you had said upon finally leaving the presence of your ex-boss at Monash?

Was there any point during the long process of the tattoo where you wished you hadn't started, and how long did that last?

I don't think any of the devilbunnies authors could see you as anything but the Sibyl and her kin. At what point in joining the community did you realise that you would be playing a mutated uncute rabbit with a tortured soul?

In an autobiographical film, which actor would give the most sympathetic portrayal of your life, and who would give the most realistic?

When you need to reground yourself, where do you go and what actions and music assist you most?

1) How do the do the poems tend to appear? Fall out in near-ready condition? Ooze in need of shaping? Other...

2) You've previously been married. At what point did the doubts start to appear?

3) As a person with a first-name-preferred-customer-profile at Anton's, describe your absolutely favourite outfit (whether you own it all or not).

4) Your bookshelves show an interest in the classic magazine "Bizarre". How much do your real-life tastes mirror those described in the magazine?

5) What, to you, is the absolutely most important criterion in having a successful long-term relationship?

1) How are you intending to sue or otherwise demand compensation from or punish that outrageous imposter who had the audacity to use your name and obviously the reputation of your superb singing voice and amazing stage presence to try and kick-start her own sordid pop career?

2) To what extent are you prepared to sacrifice your life to the art of singing and the stress and tensions of performing? (And yes, that buzz on stage is amazingly addictive, isn't it?)

3) What is the worst discrimination you have experienced, overt or covert, as a female of a Non-Anglo background? How did you deal with it at the time?

4) You seem such a nice, normal, loving, balanced person, yet you are quite obviously an integral part of the Cabal there is no Cabal. What is the hidden dark part of you that attunes you to the genre?

5) Where would you draw the line of "kinky"? (This does not necessarily mean you would not step over it.)

1) Librarians are the keepers of the repositories of knowledge, and knowledge is power. What misuses of this power have you seen or performed, and how best can the power be misused?

2) Your relationship with the wonderful Malada is very close but must have a lot of problems imposed from outside due to the non-orthodox nature of the pairing. What has been the most painful discrimination or harassment you two have endured?

3) When you met, what was it about Malada that attracted you most, and was there anything in particular that you've had to tolerate or endure? Living with a techie must be so difficult!

4) Your characters in devilbunnies and the Wolves Glen Pub are rich and varied. What part of your life led you to writing characters, and why?

5) What music or other sound (or lack of) do you use to find your quiet centre?

If you're still in the mood.
