I've been writing quite a bit. The writing part refers specifically to my works on Archive of Our Own, including some Extreme smut on a side account that I do not admit to :-) Obviously my Fanfiction.net account's numbers would be quite different.
One of these days I must move the rest of the FF.Net ones over.
However, Meme, Snurched from
mywitch and hidden behind this cut for your sanity:
Ao3 Works
What are your first and second most common work ratings?
General Audiences (20)
Teen and up (11)
How many works have you written in each relationship category? Is this more accidental, or do you have preferences?
M/M (8)
F/M (31)
Multi (1)
Gen (6)
F/F (0)
Other (0)
Obviously I need to work more at the others. And tag better. There's definitely some F/F in there somewhere ... Amusing ratings though, considering the Big Work is F/F all the way, honey. 250K words worth.
What are your top four fandoms by numbers? Are you still active in any of them, and do you tend to migrate a lot?
Harry Potter - J. K. Rowling (22)
Star Wars (4 + 2 on a secret Smut account)
Game Of Thrones (2)
The Secret Garden (2)
Still dabble in Harry Potter, writing in quite a few others. If a ship or Fix-it or "what happened?" or "what's the background" calls to me, I'll write it. Also, there's a lot of Yuletide one-offs.
What are your topfour five character tags? Does this match how you feel about the characters, or are you puzzled?
Hermione Granger (17)
Severus Snape (12)
Ron Weasley (6)
Ben Solo/Kylo Ren (6)
Rey (Star Wars) (6)
I wrote a lot of SS/HG so that doesn't surprise me. And a lot of it involves getting rid of Ron so it makes sense that he snuck in there.
And yes, I've been dabbling in Star Wars Sequel a bit so I'm not surprised they're sneaking in there too.
If we look at the topsix four relationships, they are:
Severus Snape/Hermione Granger (11)
Rey/Ben Solo (6)
Finn/Poe (3)
Hermione/Harry (3)
There's a half-dozen at 2 each, so I won't bother.
How many WIPs do you have currently running on AO3? Any you don’t plan on finishing?
None - I have a couple of WIPs but they're still safe on my folders in my computer.
Nearest Book
1. Grab the nearest book; 2. Open the book to page 123; 3. Find the fifth sentence; 4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions; 5. Don’t you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
From Mother of Pearl by Angela Savage.
Mod couldn't see what was going on, but Pimsuda had told her this was the day that the doctor would out what Oy called a 'glass tube baby' into her womb.
She'd been prepared for weeks. At first, the doctor had given her tablets to eat.
First Line
Post the first line of the first entry of each month for the past year in your journal.
If it's a greeting - I've gone for the second line. :)
(Jan) I wrote two things this Christmas - one as a pinch-hit in the sshg_giftfest (It's not been revealed yet so I'll keep it quiet for a bit longer) and a Corpse Bride Fic for Yuletide that I'm rather pleased with.
(Feb) No entries (2020 sucked)
(Mar) Because
mywitch is lovely.
(Apr) The "Last Time" meme, from several people, below the cut for your safety.
(May) No entries
(Jun) No entries
(Jul) And what I have been researching.
(Aug) And ficced, but it's poetry, so it's a lot shorter. Inspired by the old Rupert Bear comics, first written by my great-great-great-great aunt Mary Tourtel.
(Sept) No entries
(Oct) It's Frithmas Time (Early), thanks to the World Wide Plague. So if you'd like to join the Frithmas list, the details are here.
(Nov)Bread
(Dec) It finally dawned on me that if I want to send Christmas Greetings (apart from the Devilbunny ones which have been in the pipeline forever), I need to get organised NOW!
