Using this card from the game Paperback as their prompt, my AMAZING Mystery Author wrote me "Dead Planet".

In the Bermuda Triangle of space, things aren't always what they seem.
Or: An archaeologist, a smuggler, and a model meet on a seemingly dead planet and become part of the resistance against the Galactic Federation.

Read it. It's amazing.

Depending on what she likes for *her* fanfic, I may have written for her! We'll find out on Jan 1.

Quite true.  I do know that her recipient practically swooned at her gift, saying it was the perfect Yuletide story and exactly the treatment she wanted for her OTP for that series!  It was an amazing comment, and my wife gave her 10k words!!!

Pulling up Paperback on Board Game Geek, it looks very much like a game that I made but never released called Waste of Celluloid where you make movie titles. Quite silly.

Definitely going to have to look into getting a copy.
