Good things, Bad things.
Sep. 10th, 2003 02:17 pmOn the good side, Ratboy got offered a place at the selctive high school up the road from where we now live. It's his Grandfather's old school too, and ought to be good for him.
Alas, he decided he'd stay with the teacher after all, and it's obviously not turning out as he planned it. I went to visit him in school today at lunchtime, and he was disappointed at not getting a part in the school play. I know there's Theatresports coming to his school next term - he'd love that, I'm sure. After all, his father and I met at Theatresports. Failing that (and funds permitting) I think he'd enjoy one of the holiday courses at NIDA.
But if he's unhappy now, what's a mother to do?
