What's in the box?
Feb. 28th, 2004 06:45 amYeah, it's a meme.
So, say you were meeting a new person--blind date, new friend, who knows. And you wanted them to have some idea of what kind of person you are, and who you are. But you can't actually tell them in so many words. Instead, you have to give them a box, with a dozen things in it for them to look at/read/listen to/taste/whatever. What would you put in the box? And a copy of your journal or a link to your LJ would be the same thing as just telling them directly, yourself, so that's not allowed.
And the box :
1) A copy of the poetry of John Wilmot (Lord Rochester), dog-eared at the more salacious ones.
2) A half-finished sweater in glorious colours, the knitting firm and even.
3) A tin with the evil lasagne in it, reeking of good garlic and much calorific joy.
4) A dragon pendant, carved out of bone and hanging on a leather thong with a small bone stopper.
5) A geology assignment.
6) An invitation to a party, done in verse.
7) A gold and black domino mask.
8) A small green shirt, made of fine worsted wool.
9) A lock of hair, non-de-script brown, slightly curled.
10) A hair-elastic - very strong, rather worn.
11) An old copy of a computer magazine with a story in it about how to talk to your comuters to get the best result from them.
12) A ticket stub to Theatresports.
