1) working out the correct amount of mix to put on the baking trays so that you don't end up with a "ran into each other slab of biscuit" that you have to cut apart.

2) not eating all the mix while it's in the bowl.

Bastard started making Anzac-style biscuits last Thursday. The remnants of the bowl full of dough are still in said bowl in the kitchen. He'd eaten half of it and then gone out while I was at bridge on Thursday.

One of the things I got quite accustomed to in Australia were Anzac biscuits in the afternoon. They're not something very popular in import stores over here.

(Having just read the recipe, I can see how this has Potential. First the Anzac biscuit, then the cheesecake, then possibly the fruit topping of your choice, then the crumbly leftover biscuity bits on top...)

I've made it three times, and it's been incredible each time.

Giant Anzac biscuit base would work fine I think.
