NZ (and presumably Aussie) 10c pieces used to substitute quite nicely for quarters... I didn't try it the last time I was over, but they worked 8 years ago. Very handy for waiting around in airport transit areas.
If you're ever up this way again, I guess we'll have to spend a few days over in NH and take you to Funspot, home of the American Classic Arcade Museum.
