OK, it's fair that it's now 31 days since your last arrival. That is a reasonable interval, and one I am prepared to accept.

But last time you hung around for 10 whole days, ruining many a plan for frolicking and amusement. And your lovely friends - Tummy-Cramp, Gut-Bind and Down-in-the-Dumps (or is it Down-from-Tiredness? I can never tell those two apart) - hung around as well, taking up time and effort like the bunch of fun-stealing chocolate-craving hangers-on that they are.

Which means you really, really didn't have to show up now. Honest. Actually, thanks to the calendar I've been keeping, you've been remarkably punctual for the last 6 months, which indicates my belief that you might be cutting back your visits is unfounded. But honestly, I wouldn't mind it if you found something else to do for a while. Truly.

Just go away.

My annoying visitor used to arrive at completely random intervals, typically with a pretty long wait in between them, but would stay for at least seven days every time.

This is why I'm reluctant to go off the pill, which has been providing me with nearly clock-setting regularity and two-day visits for more than ten years now.
